Planning Commissioners are responsible for guiding land use, development, and infrastructure decisions in accordance with state law. Their work ensures that growth is planned, regulated, and consistent with community goals.
Planning commissions create and adopt comprehensive development plans for the municipality, including areas outside boundaries that affect the community’s future. These plans set long-term goals for land use, housing, transportation, and environmental protection. The Village has a current up to date Comprehensive Plan & Zoning Regulations in place.
